Individual Counselling
I work with individuals aged 18 and over to create lasting change in their lives.

Supporting the Veterinary Community — and Beyond

Working in the veterinary field often means giving deeply to others — to animals, clients, and colleagues alike. Over time, this dedication can take a personal toll, leading to stress, emotional fatigue, or a sense of disconnection. I provide counselling services primarily for veterinary professionals, including vets, nurses, technicians, receptionists, and support staff, while also welcoming individuals from all walks of life who are seeking meaningful support and personal growth.

My counselling approach is person-centered and strengths-based, grounded in the belief that each person already holds valuable resources and insights to support their own wellbeing. Together, we build on these strengths to help you move toward positive and sustainable change.

I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to understand and reframe unhelpful thought patterns
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to help you live in alignment with your values
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) - to help regulate emotions and strengthen relationships
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) - to gently heal your inner trauma and restore inner balance, compassionately
Through our work together, we may focus on goals such as:
-
Managing workplace stress and emotional demands
-
Navigating compassion fatigue or burnout
-
Strengthening resilience and self-compassion
-
Reconnecting with purpose and meaning in your work and life
-
Finding balance and fulfilment beyond professional roles
This is a confidential space where I strive to cultivate a haven of support and safety, where you can feel understood and valued — a place to reflect, heal, and grow. Whether you work within the veterinary community or come from another background, you deserve care and support that honours your experiences and helps you move forward with confidence.
